Went with my family to Soup Restaurant @ AMK hub. Interestingly i got back the same round table as my last visit (with my sec school friends a couple of months ago). Hee. Man, it was so crowded and they don't take reservations. There was a snaking queue outside.
Their specialty Sam Sui chicken. I always like this dish: succulent chicken with ginger sauce wrapped in lettuce! Yum! Only sad thing is that i know the succulence comes from the forced fed lifestyle of the caged chickens.
Sliced fish stirfry with beansprouts: I hardly see any fish slices, it's all beansprouts. Crap.
From bottom clockwise,
Tofu with prawns in sweet sour sauce: Prawns are succulent
Stewed Chicken breast with roasted pork and tofu: Chicken breast is chicken BITS.
Broccoli with scallops: Only about 3-4 small scallops, but overall ok
Beggar Pork ribs: My mum likes this dish, she says the ribs are very tender, but brother says there's very little meat on the ribs, compared to usual bbq ribs.
Homemade tofu in soy sauce: This is pretty good, just fresh silken tofu in soy sauce.
Soup of the day: Winter melon soup with pork ribs
I kinda like it cos the winter melon is all dissolved into the soup - indicating that it's well-broiled.
