Tong Chiang Claypot @ kallang

We zoomed past this eatery like a zillion times since it's situated at the traffic junction at PIE's exit. Bf wanted to bring me here like a hundred times but i refused thinking it's some bogus PRC outlet from the name of the shop "dong jiang" so i thought it's some cuisine from that part of china. Well it turn out that i was wrong - very wrong. and my bf is right - the food is good, very good indeed! :)

okay this marmite pork ribs suck. not bcos it's not delicious, but many of the pieces they gave were entirely FATS :(
but the soup is VERY good for $3. i always order this on my return visits.

but the gem is this: claypot chicken rice. it's damn good....better than those i waited an hour for.
the chicken is oh-so-tender. i have never had a piece of chicken breast so tender!

Okay i'm trying to capture its tenderness. But i guess you can only EXPERIENCE it by trying!
YUMMMMM!
