Bf brought mum and I to try out this Xing Hua cuisine (his colleague recommended him). I had thought it's some very nice Zi Char, but it's only upon reaching then i realise it's Xing Hua cuisine :) Hmm, so we asked the lady to recommend us some of their specialties.
It's a small stall by a corner.
This dish is supposed to be Fried Pork with Lychee. But the 1st piece i saw was a cauliflower and thereafter all are crumbs of pork heavily coated with flour. Turned out to be one of the best dish of the evening - only because the rest were worse.
Xing Hua vermicelli: this is quite interesting with roasted pork, lala, prawns and vege. Not bad.
This is Xing Hua Lor Mee. Bad choice: the lamian-alike noodles are soggy and the soup, tasteless and yucky. Ingredients are similar to the vermicelli's.
Kai Lan with beancurd skin. Not bad - can't go wrong with this.
I've accidentally deleted the picture of the WORST dish: some tofu and egg steamed with minced oyster and some funny pickles. Eeeks. It comes in a gigantic bowl.
Rating: 0 (will never try again! maybe bcos it's an acquired taste and i really can't acquire to their tastebuds)
